Born on May 1st, 1987, in Kranj, Slovenia, Borut Prosenc's passion for racing, particularly rallying, was ignited at a young age by his father. This early exposure sparked a lifelong dedication to motorsports.
Professional career
Borut's competitive rallying career began in 2008 at the age of 21, continuing until 2011. After a period of focusing on driver education, he returned to active rally competition in 2020. In 2017, he became a certified safe driving instructor at AMZS Vransko, further developing his expertise in vehicle control and safety. Building upon this foundation, he expanded his instructional capabilities in 2020 to include specialized rally instruction. In 2023, his talent and experience were recognized by an Italian team, leading to an invitation to compete in the prestigious Italian Gravel Rally Championship.
